Jewelry Design

Jewelry is a formative art field that most directly reflects human aesthetic needs and emotions. Modern jewelry is a small sculpture that is worn on the human body and causes mental sensitivity to wearers or viewers, and acts as a medium to communicate the wearer's intelligence and emotions beyond traditional meanings such as decorations and symbols.

Based on the educational experience accumulated by the Department of Metal Crafts at Formative University over the past 40 years, know-how in industry-academic cooperation programs, and excellent facilities, Jewelry Design majors are preparing professional education programs to cultivate creative and professional jewelry designers and writers required by the times. Students majoring in jewelry design can freely realize their creative motivation through the guidance of instructors and full-time professors invited from the craft and jewelry industries in a free creative space with excellent facilities and facilities, and through marketing classes, they will build management know-how through various experiences and designs as brand planners. In particular, during their school years, students can learn a wide range of design methods to shape their ideas through the production of industry-academic cooperation works and opportunities to submit various exhibitions in addition to regular subjects. The thesis research is conducted by selecting a direction suitable for each student's career after graduation in various jewelry fields such as fine jewelry, fashion jewelry, and art jewelry.
